Spiritual Accompaniment (Spiritual Direction)

A Jesuit Tradition

Saint Ignatius Loyola developed a tradition of Spiritual Accompaniment (often known as Spiritual Guidance or Spiritual Direction) that has been carried on by Jesuits over the years.

The Ignatian Spirituality Centre offers training for people in Spiritual Accompaniment in this tradition. Many of those trained by us are willing to offer spiritual accompaniment to those who wish to have someone walk beside them and tease out both their own deepest desires and notice the action of the Spirit of God in their lives.
